Calspan Acquires Aero Systems Engineering (ASE) from Gen Cap America

Calspan Technology Holding Corporation has acquired Aero Systems Engineering (ASE) from private equity firm Gen Cap America. ASE, based in St. Paul, Minnesota, provides engine test cell and wind tunnel design, construction and lab testing services for aerospace OEMs, MROs, governments and research organizations; terms were not disclosed.

VSE Corporation Acquires Aero 3 from GenNx360 Capital Partners

VSE Corporation has completed the acquisition of GenNx/AeroRepair IntermediateCo Inc., the parent company of Aero 3, from GenNx360 Capital Partners for $350 million in cash (subject to working capital adjustments). The deal expands VSE's global aviation aftermarket distribution and MRO capabilities—particularly in wheel and brake repair and distribution—and was funded with proceeds from VSE's October 2025 public offering.
