Vanco, a provider of technology and payment solutions for education, faith-based and nonprofit organizations, has acquired Smartcare, a cloud-based SaaS provider of child care center management software used by more than 2,000 centers. Smartcare's team will remain based in Las Vegas and Salt Lake City; the deal is supported by investor Great Hill Partners and was preceded by sponsorship of Smartcare from Charter Oak Equity and Lyrical Partners.

The acquisition expands Smart Care’s Climate Solutions footprint in Texas (its fourth in-state deal) and adds refrigeration and HVAC capabilities for grocers, convenience stores and restaurants.
