Webscale Acquires Section.io to Launch CloudFlow

Webscale has acquired edge-native computing firm Section (Section.io) and integrated its technology to launch CloudFlow, an AI/ML-driven Kubernetes orchestration platform designed for smart distributed computing and cloud cost optimization. The acquisition brings Section’s engineering team into Webscale (including Section’s former CTO now Chief Product Officer) and expands Webscale’s cloud-native capabilities for ISVs, ecommerce and enterprise customers.

LatticeFlow assumes ownership of AI Sonar's platform, IP and engineering operations, establishes Dublin as an R&D hub, and will integrate AI Sonar's discovery capabilities with its centralized SaaS governance stack.
