Majors Management, operating under its MAPCO brand, has completed the acquisition of 35 retail fuel and convenience store locations across Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania from Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (Circle K). The divestiture — required by an FTC consent order — will see the sites rebranded as MAPCO, preserve jobs where possible, and bring MAPCO's MYReward$ loyalty program and local investments to new markets.

Alimentation Couche-Tard Acquires True Blue Car Wash LLC

Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all membership interests of True Blue Car Wash LLC, an operator of express tunnel car washes under the Clean Freak and Rainstorm brands. True Blue operates 65 locations across Arizona, Texas, Illinois and Indiana, with ~170,000 subscription members and strong proximity (85% within three miles) to Circle K locations, enabling cross-promotional opportunities.

Alimentation Couche-Tard Acquires Wilsons Gas Stops and Go! Stores (Atlantic Canada)

Alimentation Couche-Tard entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cape D'Or Holdings Limited, Barrington Terminals Limited and related holding entities that operate the Wilsons Gas Stops and Go! Stores network in Atlantic Canada. The network includes 79 corporate-owned convenience and fuel locations, 147 dealer locations and a marine fuel terminal in Halifax; the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2022 subject to regulatory approvals and will be financed from Couche-Tard's cash and/or credit facilities.

Alimentation Couche-Tard Acquires GetGo Cafe + Market from Giant Eagle

Alimentation Couche-Tard completed the $1.57 billion acquisition of Giant Eagle’s GetGo Cafe + Market business, including about 270 GetGo and WetGo locations, effective June 29, 2025. The deal preserves the myPerks loyalty partnership between GetGo and Giant Eagle, and the FTC required Couche-Tard to divest 35 gas stations (to be acquired by Majors Management) to address antitrust concerns.

The Kent Companies Acquires B&B Petroleum (15 Chevron Convenience Stores)

The Kent Companies, a family-owned convenience store and fuels operator based in Midland, Texas, has acquired B&B Petroleum, LLC — a Ponchatoula, Louisiana-based operator of 15 Chevron-branded convenience stores (including Subway and Red Bird Café locations). The acquisition expands Kent's Kent Kwik footprint into Louisiana as part of a five-year strategy to grow eastward across the Southeast.

The Kent Cos. Acquires Jack's Convenience Stores

The Kent Cos., a family-owned Midland, Texas convenience-store operator, has acquired eight Jack's Convenience Stores in West Texas (Midland, San Angelo and Abilene). The acquired locations will be rebranded to Kent Kwik, updated to sell Chevron- or Texaco-branded fuels and integrated into Kent's network to strengthen its West Texas presence.
