Alimentation Couche-Tard entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Cape D'Or Holdings Limited, Barrington Terminals Limited and related holding entities that operate the Wilsons Gas Stops and Go! Stores network in Atlantic Canada. The network includes 79 corporate-owned convenience and fuel locations, 147 dealer locations and a marine fuel terminal in Halifax; the transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2022 subject to regulatory approvals and will be financed from Couche-Tard's cash and/or credit facilities.

(Circle K) entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 45 fuel and convenience retail sites from Arkansas‑based Big Red Stores, a chain founded in 1997 by Doug and David Hendrix. The deal (expected to close in H1 2023, subject to approvals) significantly expands Couche‑Tard’s Arkansas footprint and will be financed with available cash and/or existing credit facilities.

Majors Management (MAPCO) Acquires 35 Circle K Retail Fuel and Convenience Store Locations

Majors Management, operating under its MAPCO brand, has completed the acquisition of 35 retail fuel and convenience store locations across Indiana, Ohio, and Pennsylvania from Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. (Circle K). The divestiture — required by an FTC consent order — will see the sites rebranded as MAPCO, preserve jobs where possible, and bring MAPCO's MYReward$ loyalty program and local investments to new markets.

The deal expands Canada Cartage’s service capabilities and marks its first entry into the U.S. market, with GTI’s U.S. offices in Houston, Des Moines and Franklin, Tennessee; the combined company is expected to generate over C$1 billion in annual revenue.

Alta Convenience Acquires Red Horse Oil's Get 'N Go Stores

Alta Convenience (CF Altitude LLC), a joint venture between Fortress Investment Group and Phillips 66, acquired five Get ’N Go convenience stores from Rock Springs, Wyoming-based Red Horse Oil. The seller, Jay Schneiders, monetized his investment; Alta will integrate the stores into its Denver-based portfolio of convenience stores, which totals roughly 106 locations across four states.
