Glamox, a Triton-backed lighting group, has acquired 100% of the shares in Luxonic Group Ltd (Luxonic Lighting). Luxonic is a UK-based lighting manufacturer (GBP 16.6m revenue in 2018) with a manufacturing plant in Basingstoke; the deal strengthens Glamox's position and product offering in the UK professional lighting market.

Luceco plc Acquires CMD Limited from Rubicon Partners

Luceco plc has acquired CMD Limited, a UK-based workplace wiring accessories and lighting products business, from Rubicon Partners for approximately £30 million. Rubicon acquired CMD as a carve-out in 2022 and the existing CMD management team will remain to work with Luceco as the business is integrated and developed.

Chauvet Acquires LiteGear

Chauvet has acquired LiteGear, the Burbank-based cinematic LED lighting manufacturer, with the merger taking effect January 22, 2025. Chauvet will incorporate LiteGear into a new Chauvet Cinema Group (led by Mike Wagner) alongside Kino Flo to expand its cinematic lighting product portfolio, manufacturing scale and global market reach.

Applied UV Acquires PURO Lighting and LED Supply Co.

Applied UV, Inc. (NASDAQ:AUVI) entered into definitive agreements to acquire PURO Lighting, LLC and LED Supply Co. in a combined transaction valued at approximately $20 million (cash and restricted shares). The deals would roughly double Applied UV's size—adding an estimated $18 million of revenue—and expand its distribution, sales capabilities and access to PURO's strategic relationships (including Acuity Brands) for FDA‑cleared disinfection products.

EiKO Global (Inverness Graham-backed) Acquires Xeleum Lighting

Inverness Graham Investments’ portfolio company EiKO Global has acquired Xeleum Lighting, a Boynton Beach, Florida manufacturer and distributor of intelligent LED fixtures and controls. The add-on expands EiKO’s smart-LED platform and control-oriented capabilities to increase wallet share with commercial and industrial customers; terms were not disclosed.

NorthEdge Acquires Majority Stake in Lights4fun

NorthEdge has made a majority investment to support a management buyout of Lights4fun, a Harrogate-headquartered direct-to-consumer e-commerce retailer of decorative lighting. The capital will be used to expand product range, accelerate UK market share, grow international presence (notably Germany and the US), and invest in marketing and data analytics to drive long-term customer relationships.
