Polypipe Group PLC has acquired Honiton-based Nu-Heat Holdings Ltd, a supplier of underfloor heating and heat pump solutions, for GBP27 million. The purchase expands Polypipe's low-carbon heating and climate-management offerings and is expected to be earnings-accretive in the first full year.

One Equity Partners and Buckthorn Partners Acquire Amey plc from Ferrovial

One Equity Partners, alongside UK investment firm Buckthorn Partners, agreed to acquire UK infrastructure services and engineering consultancy Amey plc from Ferrovial in a transaction announced in 2022 (completed Dec 2022). Amey is a leading provider of transport infrastructure and public-sector facilities services in the United Kingdom with c.11,000–14,000 employees; the sale completed as part of Ferrovial’s exit from its services business.

Abry Partners Acquires Aker Systems Stake from LDC

Abry Partners has acquired the investment in cloud technology company Aker Systems from mid-market private equity firm LDC; financial terms were not disclosed. Founded in 2017, Aker Systems builds and operates ultra-secure public cloud environments and advanced data infrastructure platforms and will look to continue growth under Abry's ownership.

Deel Acquires Hofy

Deel has acquired UK-based Hofy, a device lifecycle management and global IT services provider, in a deal reported to be slightly over $100 million. The acquisition integrates Hofy's ~120 employees into Deel and enables Deel to launch 'Deel IT'—bringing end-to-end global device supply, provisioning and lifecycle management in-house to expand its HR and payroll platform capabilities.

Apax Partners Acquires Majority Stake in ADCO Group

Funds advised by Apax Partners have agreed to acquire a majority stake in ADCO Group, the global market leader in mobile sanitary units (TOI TOI and DIXI brands). The existing shareholders will retain a significant stake; Apax plans to support ADCO's international expansion, product and service strengthening, and digitalisation initiatives. The transaction was announced August 5, 2019 and expected to close in Q4 2019, subject to regulatory approvals.
