Crane NXT Acquires OpSec Security from Investcorp for $270M

Crane NXT, Co. has signed a definitive agreement to acquire OpSec Security from Investcorp Technology Partners for $270 million in cash (subject to customary adjustments). The acquisition — which excludes Zacco, retained by Investcorp — expands Crane NXT's physical and digital authentication and brand-protection capabilities; OpSec expects roughly $130 million in revenue for fiscal 2024.

Fulcrum Biometrics Acquires DelaneyBiometrics Business from Delaney Secure Ltd.

Fulcrum Biometrics, a San Antonio-based biometric solutions provider and subsidiary of Fujitsu Frontech North America Inc., has acquired the DelaneyBiometrics business (including IP and distribution rights) from UK-based Delaney Secure Ltd. The deal adds DelaneyCloud, DelaneyID and DelaneyGatekeeper to Fulcrum's product suite, retains the High Wycombe office and key staff, and expands Fulcrum's presence in the UK and wider European market.

Deloitte Acquires Dextra Technologies

More than 350 product and software engineers from Dextra will join Deloitte Consulting as the firm expands its IoT, embedded systems, and product engineering capabilities; Dextra CEO Daniel Chavez will join Deloitte as an incoming managing director.

ACR Group Acquires TRX Systems

DELAIR Acquires SQUADRONE SYSTEM

SQUADRONE SYSTEM was founded in 2014, employs ~22 people and had an estimated €2M revenue in 2024; the purchase accelerates DELAIR's dual civil and defense technological roadmap and strengthens its swarm and inspection capabilities.

Axon to Acquire Dedrone

Axon has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Dedrone, a global leader in airspace security and counter-drone solutions. The acquisition will expand Axon's public safety platform by integrating Dedrone's AI/ML-based detection, tracking and mitigation technologies; the deal is expected to close in the second half of 2024 (terms undisclosed).
