Alvarez & Marsal Capital Partners Fund III (AMCP III), through an affiliate of A&M Capital, signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in East Coast Power (ECP), a fast-growing electric utility services provider headquartered in Albany, New York. The partnership will fund ECP's national expansion through organic growth and strategic M&A while founder Darren Donohue remains a large shareholder and operating executive.

Pearce Services Acquires Unified Power

Pearce Services, a New Mountain Capital-backed provider of mission-critical infrastructure services, has acquired Unified Power, a Terrell, Texas-based provider of UPS and backup generator maintenance and repair services. The deal, supported with incremental capital from Goldman Sachs Alternatives' Hybrid Capital group, expands Pearce's capabilities into UPS services and strengthens its presence across data center, telecom, healthcare and other mission-critical end markets; Incline Equity Partners sold Unified Power.

Arcline Investment Management Acquires Electric Power Systems and North American Substation Services

Arcline Investment Management acquired Electric Power Systems (EPS) and North American Substation Services (NASS) from Industrial Growth Partners to create a leading electric infrastructure services platform (now branded Voltyx). Industrial Growth Partners retained a minority stake in the combined business; the deal brings together protection and control engineering, high-voltage apparatus testing, and substation maintenance capabilities to serve utilities, renewable energy, data center and commercial customers.

United Grid Solutions (Pike) Acquires United Engineers & Constructors' Power Delivery Business Unit from CriticalPoint

The acquisition adds BHI’s transmission, substation and distribution capabilities and more than 1,200 employees and 170+ crews, expanding United Utility’s geographic footprint and creating one of the largest independent U.S. transmission & distribution services providers.
