Emburse, a travel and expense (T&E) management software provider, has acquired TRIPBAM, a provider of always-on travel reshopping and auditing technology that tracks corporate travel bookings and automatically rebooks to lower fares. The acquisition expands Emburse's travel capabilities—adding flight and hotel rebooking, analytics and contract-auditing functionality—to help customers better control travel spend and improve policy compliance.

Tempo Acquires Roadmunk

System1 Acquires RoadWarrior Route Planner

System1, Inc. (owner of MapQuest) has completed its acquisition of RoadWarrior, a subscription route-planning app serving gig-economy and professional drivers. System1 plans to integrate MapQuest's B2B APIs and route-planning capabilities to enhance RoadWarrior's product and expand its user base.

E2open Acquires Amber Road

E2open, an Insight Partners portfolio company, completed an all-cash tender offer and merger to acquire Amber Road for $13.05 per share, taking the formerly public global trade management software provider private. The deal, which integrates Amber Road's GTM capabilities into E2open's cloud-based supply chain platform, was supported by a $950 million one-loan debt facility arranged by Golub Capital.

Applied Intuition Acquires Embark Technology

Applied Intuition agreed to acquire autonomous-trucking software developer Embark Technology in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $71 million. Applied will integrate Embark's software, data and tools to enhance its autonomous-vehicle development platform; Embark plans to retire its test truck fleet and key employees are expected to join Applied.
