United States Beverage (USB) has formed a joint venture to acquire Uinta Brewing, Utah’s largest independent craft brewer, while retaining Uinta’s leadership, operations and staff. The deal is intended to expand USB’s craft beverage portfolio and create distribution and operational synergies for Uinta’s national growth.

Sapporo U.S.A. Acquires Stone Brewing

Sapporo U.S.A. has agreed to acquire Stone Brewing, combining Sapporo's U.S. business with one of America's largest craft brewers. The deal (expected to close in August 2022) gives Sapporo bi-coastal brewing capacity at Stone's Escondido, California and Richmond, Virginia breweries and lets Stone continue operating its taprooms and breweries under existing branding and management.

Tilray Brands, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire eight beer and beverage brands (including associated employees, breweries and brewpubs) from Anheuser‑Busch. The deal covers Shock Top, Breckenridge Brewery, Blue Point, 10 Barrel, Redhook, Widmer Brothers, Square Mile Cider Company and HiBall Energy and is expected to close in 2023, significantly expanding Tilray’s U.S. beverage footprint and production capacity.
