Diversis Capital Partners, a Los Angeles–based private equity firm, has acquired Performance Designed Products (PDP), a San Diego–headquartered maker of video game accessories and peripherals. Diversis said it will support PDP's product roadmap and international growth while leveraging its technical and financial expertise to accelerate the company's expansion.

Platinum Equity Acquires Pelican Products

Platinum Equity has completed its acquisition of Pelican Products, a Torrance, California-based manufacturer of high-performance protective cases, portable lighting systems and temperature-controlled packaging (Peli BioThermal). The deal, purchased from Behrman Capital, positions Pelican as a platform for growth under Platinum Equity with management, led by CEO Phil Gyori, remaining in place; financial terms were not disclosed.

The ODP Corporation (Office Depot) acquired BuyerQuest Holdings, Inc., a cloud-based procure-to-pay (P2P) software provider, to accelerate ODP's digital transformation and expand its B2B platform capabilities. The acquisition integrates BuyerQuest's P2P and eCommerce capabilities into ODP's supply chain and digital commerce offerings to improve procurement experience and drive greater adoption among enterprise and public-sector customers.

Portage Plastics Acquires Paradise Plastics Division from Paradise, Inc.

Portage Plastics Corporation has acquired Paradise Plastics, the thermoforming and plastic products division of Paradise, Inc., in a transaction announced June 15, 2020. The sale — advised by Hyde Park Capital — transfers Paradise Plastics’ thin- and heavy-gauge thermoforming and tool-making capabilities to Portage Plastics to expand its manufacturing and design services.
