Vivify Specialty Ingredients, a portfolio company backed by Gryphon Investors' Heritage Fund, acquired Access Ingredients, a distributor of specialty surfactants and active ingredients for the personal care industry. Access owner Trudi Leung will remain as Managing Director and roll over a meaningful stake; the deal expands Vivify's personal care and cosmetics offerings, adds a West Coast distribution facility, and represents an add-on to Vivify's Sandream Specialties division. Polyventive LLC acquired the Surfactants and Dyes & Pigments businesses of Tri‑TexCo Inc and Trichromatic‑West, Inc from funds advised by SK Capital Partners. Concurrently, Tri‑Tex's adhesives business was sold to Meridian Adhesives Group. The transaction expands Polyventive's specialty chemicals portfolio and adds manufacturing capabilities in Canada and the United States.

ChromaScape Acquires Greenville Colorants

ChromaScape, a specialty chemicals manufacturer, has acquired Greenville Colorants, a processor of liquid and powder dyes with a portfolio of over 2,000 products and manufacturing locations in New Jersey, South Carolina and California. The deal expands ChromaScape's product capabilities and extends its manufacturing footprint in the Southeast; Greenville's leadership (Ron Weiss and Joe Lynch) invested in the transaction and will join ChromaScape's executive team.
