Outside Interactive, Inc. acquired the MapMyFitness suite of connected fitness apps (including MapMyRun, MapMyRide, and MapMyWalk) from Under Armour, closing on August 30, 2024. The deal expands Outside’s mapping and connected-fitness capabilities, adds MapMyFitness’ 80+ million registered users to Outside’s audience, and scales the buyer’s first‑party data and advertising network.
