Unity has acquired VisualLive, an augmented reality (AR) platform for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry, to expand Unity Reflect’s AR capabilities and connect field teams with design/BIM data. The acquisition closed on March 4, 2021, and VisualLive employees will join Unity from VisualLive’s headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona; financial terms were not disclosed.
