GenCanna Acquires CBD Capital Ltd

GenCanna, a Kentucky-based vertically integrated CBD manufacturer, has acquired London-based CBD Capital Ltd to expand its bulk ingredient and finished-goods operations across the United Kingdom, the European Union and other global markets. The deal broadens GenCanna’s formulation and distribution capabilities in Europe; CBD Capital CEO Hassan Akhtar will remain in his role.

Pressure BioSciences Announces Plan to Acquire Cannaworx, Inc.

Pressure BioSciences signed a binding letter of intent to merge with Cannaworx, Inc., bringing Cannaworx's portfolio of hemp-derived CBD, cosmeceutical, nutraceutical and veterinary products into PBI's public company. Post-transaction, Cannaworx products are expected to utilize PBI's Ultra Shear Technology to create stable, highly bioabsorbable nanoemulsions and to accelerate product commercialization across consumer, veterinary and agricultural markets.

Bayou City Hemp Company Acquires LeafLife Wellness

Bayou City Hemp Company, Inc., a Houston-based hemp processing and extraction company, has completed the acquisition of Leaf Life, Inc. (LeafLife Wellness), a Dallas-based CBD retail company that formulates, manufactures and distributes CBD-infused skincare, cosmetics and wellness products. The acquisition vertically integrates Bayou City Hemp’s supply chain—LeafLife will use Bayou City Hemp distillate and isolate—and expands the acquirer’s retail, white-label and online distribution capabilities; the deal is expected to be accretive to earnings.

Bruker Corporation Acquires Canopy Biosciences, LLC
