Mortgage data intelligence firm InGenius has acquired SIMPL, a recruiting platform built by industry operators Fobby Naghmi and John Perry, and integrated it into the InGenius 2.0 system. The acquisition is intended to add structured recruiting workflows, market data integration, and automation to help branch and producing managers recruit more efficiently.

Granicus Acquires Simpleview

Granicus has acquired Simpleview, a global provider of CRM, CMS and digital marketing solutions for destination marketing organizations, convention bureaus and venues. The deal expands Granicus's public-sector product capabilities and customer reach — combining Simpleview's destination-marketing platform and client base (1,000+ destinations) with Granicus's government engagement portfolio to serve more than 7,000 organizations worldwide.

Avionté Acquires SimpleVMS

Avionté, a Bloomington, Minnesota-based provider of enterprise staffing and recruiting software, has acquired SimpleVMS, a Cincinnati-based vendor management system (VMS) for mid-to-large employers. The acquisition integrates SimpleVMS's VMS capabilities into Avionté's staffing platform to create an end-to-end solution for employers, staffing agencies, and talent, improving data flow, requisition fulfillment, and contingent workforce management.

Granicus Acquires SmartGov from Brightly Software (a Siemens company)

The acquisition expands Granicus' Government Experience Cloud by adding cost-effective, cloud-based permitting and licensing capabilities to serve hundreds of U.S. cities, counties and state agencies.

nCino Acquires SimpleNexus for $1.2 Billion

nCino, a cloud banking software provider, agreed to acquire SimpleNexus, a mobile-first homeownership and digital mortgage platform, in a transaction valued at approximately $1.2 billion (approximately $240 million cash and ~13.2 million shares). The acquisition expands nCino's point-of-sale and mobile capabilities in the U.S. mortgage market and is expected to close by the end of nCino's fourth fiscal quarter ending January 31, 2022, subject to customary approvals.

Lightcast Acquires Simply, UK Workforce Analytics Firm
