Granicus, a Denver-based provider of cloud-delivered GovTech solutions, has acquired Rock Solid Technologies, a citizen-engagement SaaS provider with offices in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Dallas, Texas. The deal—completed in October 2022 with Strattam Capital selling Rock Solid—expands Granicus' meeting, 311 service request, and citizen engagement capabilities and broadens its footprint in Puerto Rico and Latin America.

The deal expands Granicus's public-sector product capabilities and customer reach — combining Simpleview's destination-marketing platform and client base (1,000+ destinations) with Granicus's government engagement portfolio to serve more than 7,000 organizations worldwide.

Siemens AG Acquires Brightly Software from Clearlake Capital

Siemens AG, via its Smart Infrastructure division, agreed to acquire Brightly Software, a U.S.-based cloud-native enterprise asset management SaaS provider, from Clearlake Capital for $1.575 billion in upfront cash plus up to $300 million in earn-outs. The acquisition strengthens Siemens' digital building and infrastructure software capabilities and expands its SaaS footprint, while Brightly will benefit from Siemens' global scale.

Granicus Acquires Indigov to Add Constituent Relationship Capabilities to Government Experience Cloud
