Magna5, a NewSpring Holdings platform company, has acquired the U.S. assets/operations of Apogee IT Services to expand its managed IT, cybersecurity and cloud services footprint in the Pittsburgh and Boston markets. The add-on strengthens Magna5’s delivery capabilities and brings Apogee’s U.S. customers and technical team onto Magna5’s larger, PE-backed platform.

Boldyn Networks Acquires Apogee Telecom

Boldyn Networks has agreed to acquire Apogee Telecom, the leading provider of on‑campus connectivity and managed technology services for US higher education institutions. The acquisition expands Boldyn's US footprint and adds Apogee's managed campus networks, ResNet and fiber-as-a-service capabilities to Boldyn's portfolio; the deal is subject to customary regulatory consents and was expected to close in Q2 2024.

Tequity Advisors acted as exclusive financial advisor to Apogee; the deal expands Supra ITS's North American presence, broadens technology and security capabilities, and provides Apogee clients with enhanced 24x7 managed services and Canadian data-centre capacity.

Bernhard Capital Partners Acquires Apogee Engineering

Bernhard Capital Partners' government services platform has acquired Apogee Engineering, LLC, a government technology solutions provider focused on digital transformation, systems engineering, adaptive acquisition and program management. Financial terms were not disclosed; the acquisition is an add-on to BCP's government services platform (established via the 2023 Duotech Services acquisition) and is intended to expand capabilities in technology integration, modernization and cybersecurity for federal clients.

NVIDIA Acquires Cumulus Networks

NVIDIA announced plans to acquire Cumulus Networks, the Mountain View–based developer of Cumulus Linux and open networking software for data-center switches. The acquisition expands NVIDIA’s networking software capabilities—enabling deeper integration across chips, switching hardware (including NVIDIA Mellanox Spectrum) and network operating software to support accelerated, software-defined data centers.

Apogee Interactive Acquires EnergyX Solutions
