BUTEC Group (UAE) completed the takeover of 17 energy services companies in 15 African countries from ENGIE Group, closing the transaction on March 31, 2022. The acquisition adds roughly 2,000 employees and strengthens BUTEC's multi-technical services and energy services footprint across Africa while ENGIE concentrates its efforts on green energy generation and distribution.
