HARMAN International (a subsidiary of Samsung Electronics) has acquired Germany-based Apostera, a maker of augmented reality (AR) and mixed reality (MR) software for automotive applications. Apostera's hardware-agnostic AR/MR platform and expertise will be integrated into HARMAN's Automotive division to expand its digital cockpit and in-vehicle AR/MR capabilities.
