Exaltare Capital Management, a Boston-based private equity firm, acquired UKW Holding Company (Uni K Wax), a franchisor and operator of waxing studios headquartered in Aventura, Florida. Capitala Group provided debt and equity financing for the transaction; Heather Elrod joined as Executive Chair and founder Noemi Grupenmager remains a significant shareholder as the company pursues franchise system expansion.

AWAX Group Acquires Sasol Wax GmbH

Dresner Partners advised the sellers, and Forefront — a PE-backed dermatology platform headquartered in Manitowoc, Wisconsin with over 225 clinics — will integrate Waldorf’s Portland/Beaverton-area plastic surgery and spa services into its network.
