OneOncology has closed its acquisition of GenesisCare USA of Florida and will relaunch the acquired practice as SunState Medical Specialists (SMS). The deal brings more than 100 physicians and 104 clinics into OneOncology’s physician-led platform, expanding its Florida footprint and enabling investments in technology, clinical research, and advanced specialty services.

TPG and AmerisourceBergen Acquire OneOncology from General Atlantic

TPG has agreed to acquire a majority interest in OneOncology and AmerisourceBergen will take a roughly 35% minority stake for approximately $685 million, valuing OneOncology at $2.1 billion. OneOncology's affiliated practices, physicians, and management will retain minority ownership as the parties form a new joint venture; the network includes over 900 affiliated providers across 14 states and the deal is expected to close by the end of September 2023.

The deal combines Urology Partners with ION’s existing partner SouthWest Urology (and longtime partner Northern Ohio Regional Cancer Center) to expand urologic and prostate cancer care capacity and services across Cleveland and Ohio.
