Eagle Electronics Acquires Wireless Mobility and Rebrands as Eagle Wireless

Eagle Electronics, backed by The O.H.I.O. Fund and Asymmetric Capital Partners, has acquired Germany-headquartered Wireless Mobility and the combined business will operate as Eagle Wireless. The deal brings together module design, global R&D, and U.S. manufacturing (Solon, Ohio) to expand product and manufacturing capabilities for automotive and IoT customers and to position the company as a Western-controlled supplier.

The deal, supported by a $68 million strategic growth investment in TMA from Silversmith Capital Partners, is intended to accelerate product innovation (IoT and predictive maintenance capabilities), expand end-market coverage into manufacturing, distribution and logistics, and add offices in Mequon and Monterrey, Mexico.

The deal expands Wealthcare’s direct-advisory channel, growing its advisor team to more than 150 advisors and increasing combined AUM to $4.75 billion; the Eagle Financial team will remain engaged and will use Wealthcare’s GDX360 goals-based planning platform.
