Headquartered in Camden, New York, IWG is a leading manufacturer of copper and copper-alloy wire products with operations in the United States and Europe; the transaction was expected to close in Q2 2023 and financial terms were not disclosed in the initial announcement.

The acquisition adds a strategically located service hub in California to IEG’s national compactor and baler service footprint; Olympic’s founder Jim Walker will remain to lead the business as part of IEG.

Integrated Power Services Acquires Assets of Swiger Coil Systems from Wabtec Corporation

Integrated Power Services (IPS) has acquired the assets of Swiger Coil Systems from Wabtec Corporation, adding Swiger's Cleveland manufacturing facility and coil/traction motor remanufacturing capabilities to IPS's North American service network.
