Integrated Power Services Acquires Assets of Swiger Coil Systems from Wabtec Corporation

Integrated Power Services (IPS) has acquired the assets of Swiger Coil Systems from Wabtec Corporation, adding Swiger's Cleveland manufacturing facility and coil/traction motor remanufacturing capabilities to IPS's North American service network. The acquisition expands IPS's manufacturing and repair capabilities for electric coils and traction motors, increasing its traction motor service network and supporting customers across transportation, mining and power-generation markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.
