Atlas Holdings LLC has acquired International Wire Group Holdings, Inc. (IWG), a Camden, New York–headquartered manufacturer of engineered copper-based wire products. The deal brings IWG’s ~1,600+ employees and 17 manufacturing facilities into Atlas’ industrial manufacturing portfolio; Gregory J. Smith was named IWG President & CEO as part of the transition.

International Wire Group Acquires Owl Wire and Cable

The transaction adds Owl’s high-volume bare and tinned copper wire manufacturing operations in Canastota, Rome and Boonville, New York to IWG’s U.S. and European manufacturing footprint, expanding IWG’s product capabilities and capacity to serve industrial, electronics, aerospace and automotive end markets.

Italtrecce (IWG) Acquires Special Corde S.r.l.

Impact Environmental Group Acquires Olympic Wire & Equipment

The acquisition adds a strategically located service hub in California to IEG’s national compactor and baler service footprint; Olympic’s founder Jim Walker will remain to lead the business as part of IEG.

Teleflex Acquires IWG High Performance Conductors (HPC Trenton)

Teleflex Medical OEM LLC, a subsidiary of Teleflex Incorporated, has acquired IWG High Performance Conductors, Inc.'s medical devices business unit in Trenton, Georgia from an affiliate of International Wire Group, Inc. The acquisition adds minimally invasive medical solutions and engineered medical components to Teleflex's product portfolio and enables IWG to focus on its core wire product divisions.
