Graycliff Partners Acquires Electro-Mechanical Corporation

Graycliff Partners LP has completed the acquisition of Electro-Mechanical Corporation (EMC), a Bristol, Virginia-based manufacturer of medium-voltage switchgear, transformers and custom power systems. EMC, a family-owned business since 1958 that sells to utilities, renewable generators, mining and industrial customers, will operate with Graycliff’s support to accelerate growth while preserving the company’s legacy.

International Wire Group Acquires EMS Elektro Metall Schwanenmühle

International Wire Group (IWG), an Olympus Partners portfolio company, has acquired EMS Elektro Metall Schwanenmühle GmbH (EMS), a German manufacturer of customized high-current busbars with operations in Poland. The acquisition expands IWG’s European footprint and product capabilities across electrical infrastructure, data centers, battery storage, electric vehicles and renewables and complements IWG’s recent platform build-out including Hussey Copper.

(EMD), a Wichita Falls-based provider of process controls, systems integration, electrical engineering and control panel fabrication. Ripple Industries Acquires Schumacher Electric Corporation from Lincolnshire Management

Private investment firm Ripple Industries LLC acquired Schumacher Electric Corporation from private equity firm Lincolnshire Management, Inc. The deal (terms not disclosed) transfers ownership of the Fort Worth-based battery charger and EV-charging products manufacturer to Ripple, which said it will work with management to pursue growth opportunities in EV charging, battery maintenance and e-commerce channels.
