BrowserStack has acquired Nightwatch.js, the open-source Node.js end-to-end test automation framework, and will continue to keep the project open-source while investing in its development. BrowserStack said the move will help scale Nightwatch.js and deepen its support for the developer and testing community.

BrowserStack Acquires Bird Eats Bug and Launches Bug Capture

BrowserStack has acquired Bird Eats Bug and integrated its bug-reporting technology into a new offering called Bug Capture to accelerate BrowserStack's developer-first end-to-end test platform vision. The acquisition brings Bird Eats Bug's mature product (30,000+ users) and capabilities such as instant replay and auto-captured technical logs into BrowserStack's cloud testing ecosystem.

Perforce Software Acquires BlazeMeter Continuous Testing Platform from Broadcom

Perforce Software, a private, PE-backed provider of DevOps and application quality tools, agreed to acquire the BlazeMeter Continuous Testing platform from Broadcom in a deal announced September 30, 2021 and completed October 30, 2021. Financial terms were not disclosed; Perforce said the acquisition expands its application quality portfolio by adding BlazeMeter’s SaaS-based load, performance, API and unified continuous testing capabilities.

BrowserStack Acquires Requestly

BrowserStack has acquired Requestly, the open-source HTTP interception and API mocking tool and YCombinator graduate, to strengthen developer productivity and testing workflows. Requestly will remain open-source and continue to serve its large developer community while BrowserStack integrates and accelerates its roadmap to add advanced interception, mocking, and debugging capabilities to its testing platform.

Pantheon Acquires StagingPilot
