Velocity Truck Centers Acquires Triple-T Truck Centers

Velocity Truck Centers (part of Velocity Vehicle Group) has acquired Triple-T Truck Centers and its Aftermarket Parts business, expanding VTC's footprint across the Carolinas and the Southeast. The deal brings Triple-T's locations and a New Bern-based parts business into VTC's network as the company grows to 62 locations offering sales, service, parts and financing; owner Tim Matt has sold the business and VTC has committed to retain stewardship of management and employees.

Premier Truck Group (Penske) Acquires River States Truck and Trailer

Premier Truck Group, a Penske Automotive Group company, acquired River States Truck and Trailer, Inc., a La Crosse, Wisconsin-based commercial truck dealership and repair business. The deal adds five facilities across western Wisconsin and eastern Minnesota, expands Premier's footprint into new markets, and is expected to contribute roughly $200 million of estimated annualized revenue.

Truck Center Companies Acquires Harrison Truck Centers

Truck Center Companies, a Freightliner/Western Star dealership group based in Omaha, Nebraska, has acquired Harrison Truck Centers, adding eight Freightliner/Western Star sales and service locations across Minnesota and Iowa. The deal expands Truck Center Companies' geographic footprint in the Upper Midwest and brings Harrison's staff into TCC while the current Harrison ownership group will remain in managerial roles.

Penske Truck Leasing Acquires Star Truck Rentals, Inc.

Penske Truck Leasing agreed to acquire Star Truck Rentals, Inc., a Michigan-based transportation services company that offers full-service leasing, commercial truck rental, contract maintenance and used truck sales. The acquisition adds Star’s ~1,900 vehicles and 18 locations across Michigan and Indiana to Penske’s network; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction was expected to close in Q2 2023 subject to customary approvals.

TransForce Group Acquires United States Truck Driving School (USTDS)

TransForce Group, majority owned by an affiliate of Palladium Equity Partners, acquired United States Truck Driving School (USTDS) in Denver and Colorado Springs, Colorado, with the sale finalized October 18, 2021. USTDS will retain its name and become part of The CDL School (a TransForce Group company), expanding TransForce's CDL training footprint and veteran placement programs as an add-on under Palladium's ownership.

Enterprise Holdings Acquires Discount Car and Truck Rentals

Enterprise Holdings’ Canadian subsidiary has closed its acquisition of Discount Car and Truck Rentals, including Discount’s corporate-owned locations and the Quebec licensee’s daily rental businesses. The deal expands Enterprise’s Canadian footprint and truck-rental capabilities by combining complementary networks, adding locations and an expanded fleet to better serve leisure, commercial and insurance-replacement customers across Canada.
