OEG has acquired Trinity Rental Services (TRS), a Lafayette, Louisiana-based provider of offshore container rentals and integrity services, adding ~5,600 CCUs and ~80 employees to OEG’s US operations. The deal expands OEG’s Gulf of America fleet and capabilities—including API inspection services—and is the first material acquisition by OEG following its recent purchase by Apollo.

Alta Equipment Group Acquires Ambrose Equipment

Alta Equipment Group Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the assets of Ambrose Equipment, LLC, a family-owned equipment distributor and LeeBoy asphalt equipment dealer based in Hooksett, New Hampshire. The acquisition expands Alta's footprint to 39 locations across 10 states; Ambrose generated approximately $35 million of revenue and $3.1 million of adjusted EBITDA on a trailing-twelve-month basis. The asset purchase is expected to close before year-end, with terms to be disclosed upon closing.

Mitsubishi Electric Acquires Ascension Lifts Limited

Mitsubishi Electric Corporation, via its wholly owned subsidiary Motum AB, acquired all shares of Dublin-based Ascension Lifts Limited on April 29. The purchase strengthens Mitsubishi Electric's foothold in the Irish market and expands its elevator and escalator maintenance and renewal capabilities as part of a broader European growth strategy.

Toromont Industries Acquires Tri-City Equipment Rentals

Herc Rentals Acquires Summit Equipment Rentals

Rent Equip Merges with Bertling Equipment Rental

Rent Equip of Austin merged with Bertling Equipment Rental of San Antonio to form a unified company operating under the Rent Equip name across Central and South Texas. The combined business now operates six locations, employs more than 40 people, and expands Rent Equip's fleet with larger machines to better serve landscaping, construction, paving and related customers.
