The acquisition extends D&S's Field Sales & Service territory in the Mid-South, adds installation, maintenance and chemical supply capabilities, and brings Mid-States owner Dave Bogenpohl into D&S as a Regional Business Development Manager.

Lometa Capital Partners, a multi-family office, acquired a majority stake in D&S Car Wash Equipment Company (D&S), a High Ridge, Missouri-based manufacturer of car wash systems, in a transaction completed December 31, 2021. D&S founders Jon Jansky and Jerry Canfield and two other partners sold the business but retain minority equity; Lometa intends to provide evergreen capital to accelerate product and market growth and expand operations under new leadership.

The acquisition adds WashCard’s tap-to-pay, QR and mobile app capabilities to D&S’s product lineup to expand technology offerings for car wash operators across the United States and Canada.

Lawson Products Acquires S&S Automotive

Lawson Products, the operating company of Distribution Solutions Group (DSG), has completed the acquisition of S&S Automotive, a Midwest-based automotive and industrial parts distributor headquartered in Woodridge, Illinois. The transaction — funded with DSG cash and its credit facility — will combine S&S with Lawson's Kent Automotive division to expand product offering, vendor-managed inventory (VMI) capabilities and geographic reach; S&S reported approximately $40 million in annual revenue and the deal is expected to be accretive to DSG's adjusted EPS and EBITDA margins.

Dover Acquires Transchem Group

Dover has completed the acquisition of Transchem Group, a Cambridge, Ontario–based supplier of car wash chemicals, water reclaim systems and related technology, integrating it into OPW's Vehicle Wash Solutions business within Dover’s Clean Energy & Fueling segment. The deal adds chemistry, water-reclamation technology and a digital platform to Dover’s product portfolio to drive cross-sell opportunities and operational synergies across North America; terms were not disclosed.
