Lometa Capital Partners, a multi-family office, acquired a majority stake in D&S Car Wash Equipment Company (D&S), a High Ridge, Missouri-based manufacturer of car wash systems, in a transaction completed December 31, 2021. D&S founders Jon Jansky and Jerry Canfield and two other partners sold the business but retain minority equity; Lometa intends to provide evergreen capital to accelerate product and market growth and expand operations under new leadership.

The asset purchase extends D&S's Field Sales & Service footprint northward, adding a service hub to expand distribution of chemicals, equipment and related services to neighborhood car washes, regional c-store chains and commercial customers.

DRB Systems, LLC Acquires Washify Services, LLC

DRB Systems, a New Mountain Capital–backed provider of car-wash software and hardware, has acquired Washify, a West Roxbury, Massachusetts–based provider of point-of-sale and marketing software for car washes. The deal — an add-on to DRB’s car-wash technology platform — was completed from Washify founder Adam Korngold and private equity owner Ambina Partners to expand DRB’s POS and subscription product capabilities for car wash operators.

EverWash Acquires Coinless to Expand Car Wash Payment and Hardware Capabilities

EverWash, a Philadelphia-based membership car wash platform, has acquired Coinless, a mobile payment and hardware solutions provider for the car wash industry. The deal will let EverWash integrate Coinless's payment hardware and app technology into its membership platform to support In-Bay Automatic and Self-Serve washes while maintaining service for existing Coinless customers.
