Pegasus Acquires Compliance Fox

Newcastle-based workforce competency platform Pegasus has acquired Compliance Fox, a Newcastle software start-up that provides SME-focused workforce compliance and contractor management tools. The deal is Pegasus' first acquisition following a growth investment from Accel-KKR and is intended to expand Pegasus' platform capabilities to better support SME subcontractors and extend its workforce competency network.

Avetta Acquires Pegasus (Australia)

Avetta, a Utah-based supply chain risk management software provider, has agreed to acquire Pegasus, a Newcastle, Australia-based worker competency management software company. The deal combines Avetta's global supplier risk platform with Pegasus's workforce competency and learning management capabilities and establishes Pegasus as Avetta's base of operations in Australia.

IK Investment Partners Acquires Majority Stake in Skill & You

IK Investment Partners (IK IX Fund) has entered into an exclusivity agreement to acquire the majority stake in French vocational e-learning provider Skill & You from Andera Partners. Management (led by Eric Petco and Sonia Levy-Odier) will co-invest alongside IK to support accelerated international expansion, strengthen B2G/B2B capabilities and continue product and platform investment; Skill & You reported ~€115m revenue in 2020, ~120,000 students and ~850 employees.

Kodiak Gas Services (EQT) Acquires Pegasus Optimization Managers from Apollo

EQT Infrastructure portfolio company Kodiak Gas Services has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Pegasus Optimization Managers from affiliates of Apollo Natural Resource Partners II. The deal combines two fast-growing contract compression businesses — creating a leading U.S. contract compression platform with more than 2,500,000 revenue-generating horsepower; the transaction is expected to close in Q4 2019 and financial terms were not disclosed.

Akima Acquires Pinnacle Solutions

Akima has completed the acquisition of Pinnacle Solutions, a Huntsville-based provider of aviation operations, flight training, simulation and sustainment services, bringing approximately 500 employees into the Akima family. The purchase expands Akima's aviation and training capabilities in the defense and aerospace markets and Pinnacle will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary under its existing leadership.
