DoubleU Games acquired a 60% controlling stake in Turkey-based Paxie Games on March 26, 2025, with an upfront payment of $29.9 million and the remaining ownership to be earned via a three-year earnout. The deal gives DoubleU Games access to Paxie’s successful casual mobile title Merge Studio: Fashion Makeover (28M+ downloads, $34M+ cumulative revenue) to accelerate global growth and capability expansion in casual mobile gaming.

GameSquare to Acquire FaZe Clan

GameSquare Holdings has entered into a definitive all-stock agreement to acquire FaZe Clan, with FaZe to operate as a wholly owned subsidiary and its founders returning to lead the brand. The transaction combines complementary media, creator and esports assets (combined revenue ~ $138M in 2022), is expected to generate over $18M of run-rate cost savings, and will be effected via a share exchange giving FaZe shareholders approximately 45% of the combined company.

Adventure Box Technology AB Acquires Lion Gaming Group Inc.

Adventure Box Technology AB completed the acquisition of all shares in Lion Gaming Group Inc. for approximately SEK 467 million, settled via issuance of consideration shares at SEK 0.40 per share. The transaction makes Lion shareholders the majority owners (≈94.88%), and strengthens Adventure Box's technology capabilities and global footprint in the iGaming sector.
