Absorb, a Calgary-based cloud LMS provider serving millions of learners globally, will retain founder/CEO Mike Owens and other management as substantial shareholders; WCAS plans to accelerate organic growth, invest in product innovation and pursue strategic M&A.

SitelogIQ Acquires Path Company

SitelogIQ, a national energy services and facility improvement solutions provider, acquired Path Company, a NAESCO-accredited energy services firm serving municipal, K-12 and higher education customers in the Southeastern United States. The add-on acquisition (financial terms undisclosed) expands SitelogIQ’s geographic footprint into six additional southeastern states and broadens its service capabilities in lighting, HVAC, water efficiency and renewable power.
