UMC Print, a trade-only sheet-fed commercial printer founded in 1936, will continue operating at its current location as Ennis expands its locations and printing capabilities to better serve distributor partners.

Ennis said the acquisition will expand its product capabilities and enhance its printed media and labeling offerings to customers and distributors across multiple end markets.

Ennis, Inc. Acquires School Photo Marketing

(NYSE: EBF), a Midlothian, Texas-based printed products manufacturer, has acquired School Photo Marketing, a Morganville, New Jersey company that provides printing, yearbook publishing and marketing services to over 1,400 school and sports photographers. Ennis said the acquisition expands its reach into the school/sports photography channel and will leverage Ennis’ manufacturing operations to service the new customers; School Photo Marketing will continue to operate from its current locations.

Ennis Acquires Assets of Infoseal

Ennis, Inc. announced that a wholly owned subsidiary has entered into a letter of intent to acquire the assets and assume certain liabilities of Infoseal LLC, a Roanoke, Virginia producer of pressure-seal and tax forms. The Infoseal business will continue to operate under the Infoseal brand at its current facility and Ennis expects the acquisition to be accretive to earnings in the current year.

Moore Acquires Worcester Envelope Company

Moore, a performance-driven marketing and production company, has acquired Worcester Envelope Company, a 125-year-old custom envelope manufacturer based in Auburn, Massachusetts. The acquisition expands Moore’s envelope manufacturing capacity, redundancy and geographic footprint to better serve medium-to-large volume direct-mail customers while retaining Worcester Envelope’s leadership team.
