Secure-IC Acquires Silex Insight's Security Business

Secure-IC has acquired the security business of Silex Insight, bringing Silex's flexible and scalable security IP cores into Secure-IC’s embedded security portfolio. The deal expands Secure-IC’s chip-to-cloud offering and lifecycle management capabilities for device makers and OEMs; Silex Insight will transfer its security business to Secure-IC and its customers will continue to be supported.

Cadence Design Systems Acquires Invecas

Cadence Design Systems has acquired Invecas, a design engineering and embedded software firm headquartered in Santa Clara, California, to strengthen Cadence's system design engineering capabilities across chip design, advanced packaging and embedded software. The acquisition brings an engineering team centered in Hyderabad and is expected to be immaterial to Cadence's revenue; terms were not disclosed.

Accenture Acquires Innotec Security

Accenture has acquired Madrid-based Innotec Security from parent company Entelgy Group, expanding its cybersecurity-as-a-service, cyber resilience, and managed security services capabilities in Spain. The deal adds approximately 500 cybersecurity professionals to Accenture Security and deepens Accenture's regional footprint and MSS capabilities across Spanish cities including Barcelona, Seville and the Basque Country.

Arteris Acquires Cycuity

Arteris has completed its acquisition of Cycuity, integrating Cycuity’s silicon hardware security assurance technology into Arteris’s network-on-chip IP and SoC integration software portfolio. The deal expands Arteris’s capabilities to help chipmakers identify and mitigate silicon-level vulnerabilities while maintaining performance and development schedules.

iNovex Acquires Secure Innovations

Terms were not disclosed; Secure Innovations CEO Doug Jeruzal will remain with the combined business as iNovex expands its defensive cyber, systems security engineering and security automation capabilities.

iC Consult Group Acquires SecureITsource

iC Consult Group, a Munich-headquartered IAM consultancy backed by The Carlyle Group, has acquired SecureITsource, a Roswell, Georgia-based provider of Identity & Access Management (IAM) services. The acquisition expands iC Consult’s presence in North America and strengthens its global IAM service and managed-services capabilities; financial terms were not disclosed.
