The deal enhances Cadence’s embedded cybersecurity capabilities and positions the company to better address security and regulatory requirements across end markets such as automotive, aerospace, data center and IoT.

Acrisure Acquires Catalyst Technology Group and ITS Inc. to Expand Cyber Services

Acrisure has acquired two managed service providers, Catalyst Technology Group (Indianapolis, IN) and ITS Inc. (Bar Mills, ME), to expand capabilities within its Acrisure Cyber Services division. The acquisitions add managed IT, IBM systems design and integration, and expanded cloud and security engineering experience to Acrisure's cyber offerings; terms were not disclosed.

Ambarella Acquires Oculii

Ambarella, Inc. agreed to acquire Oculii Corporation, an Ohio-based developer of adaptive AI radar perception algorithms, to expand Ambarella's edge AI and sensor-fusion capabilities for automotive and other IoT endpoint applications. The acquisition adds Oculii's radar software (which can boost resolution of conventional radar chips) to Ambarella's CVflow SoC portfolio and is expected to close in Ambarella's Q4 FY2022.

Axonius Acquires Cynerio

Axonius has acquired Cynerio, a specialist in medical-device and healthcare IoT security, to accelerate the company's expansion into the healthcare market. Deal terms were reported at about $180 million (potentially rising to $250 million on milestones), while Axonius' announcement described the transaction as "more than $100 million" in a cash-and-stock deal.

Carta Acquires Tactyc

Carta has acquired Tactyc, a Morrisville, North Carolina-based provider of portfolio forecasting and planning software for private funds. The acquisition integrates Tactyc's real-time forecasting, planning and portfolio management capabilities into Carta's fund administration platform to give fund CFOs and GPs data-driven insights for capital allocation and fund performance optimization.

Aeris Acquires Ericsson's IoT Accelerator and Connected Vehicle Cloud Businesses

Aeris has closed the acquisition of Ericsson's IoT Accelerator (IoT-A) and Connected Vehicle Cloud (CVC) businesses and related assets; Ericsson will take a small ownership stake in the new Aeris. The deal combines Aeris' IoT platform with Ericsson's IoT and connected-vehicle technology to create a larger global IoT-first connectivity management service platform serving automotive, fleet, utilities, healthcare and other enterprise customers.
