GrubMarket has acquired San Francisco–based Butter, a four-year-old provider of AI-powered sales tools, cloud ERP and integrated payments for food distributors, for an undisclosed price. The acquisition will fold Butter’s AI-driven ecommerce and payment capabilities into GrubMarket’s WholesaleWare, GrubAssist AI and mobile commerce products to accelerate digital ordering and payment processing for restaurants, grocers and food wholesalers.

Bonterra (Apax-backed) Acquires Network for Good

Boathouse Capital (and other prior investors) partially exited their investment; the deal brings Network for Good’s donor management and fundraising SaaS into the platform to expand capabilities and product offerings for small and mid-sized nonprofits.
