Anduril Industries has acquired Area-I, a metro-Atlanta unmanned aerial systems developer and maker of the ALTIUS tube-launched aircraft platform. Area-I will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Anduril, expanding Anduril’s hardware portfolio and accelerating development of mission autonomy, intelligent teaming and related defense capabilities.

The acquisition expands Anduril's unmanned systems capability into the undersea domain, accelerating production and integration of Dive's modular DIVE-LD platform with Anduril's autonomy software.

Anduril Industries Acquires Klas

Anduril Industries has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Klas, a developer of rugged edge computing and tactical communications systems, in a deal that will integrate Klas' Voyager hardware into Anduril's autonomous systems and Lattice software platform. Klas will continue to operate from its facilities in Ireland and the U.S., and Anduril plans to expand manufacturing and establish an office in Dublin; terms were not disclosed.

High Point Aerotechnologies (Highlander Partners) Acquires Flex Force Enterprises

High Point Aerotechnologies, a portfolio company of Highlander Partners, has acquired Portland-based Flex Force Enterprises, a maker of the Dronebuster counter‑UAS jammer. The add-on strengthens High Point's counter‑UAS product family by adding a portable, widely deployed handheld drone defeat capability for government, military and security customers.

Alpine 4 Technologies Acquires Vayu (U.S.), Inc.

Alpine 4 Technologies, Ltd. entered into a binding LOI to acquire Vayu (U.S.), Inc., a maker of hybrid VTOL autonomous aircraft, in a reverse triangular merger that will make Vayu a wholly owned subsidiary. The deal adds VTOL aircraft, autopilot software and expanded capabilities to Alpine 4's aerospace holdings (complementing Impossible Aerospace) and is intended to accelerate medical delivery, infrastructure inspection and other commercial UAV opportunities; Vayu CEO Daniel Pepper will remain in place.

Anduril Industries Acquires American Infrared Solutions
