MACOM Acquires Linearizer Communications Group

MACOM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. acquired Linearizer Communications Group, a New Jersey-based developer of non-linear microwave predistortion and microwave photonic subsystems, for approximately $49 million in cash. The acquisition strengthens MACOM's component and subsystem design capabilities for industrial, telecommunications and defense end markets and is expected to be immediately accretive to adjusted EPS.

MaxLinear Acquires NanoSemi, Inc.

MaxLinear, Inc. (NYSE: MXL) completed the acquisition of NanoSemi, Inc., a Boston-based MIT spinout that develops patented machine-learning IP to improve signal integrity and power efficiency in SoCs, ASICs and FPGAs. The initial consideration included $10 million in cash and 804,163 shares of MaxLinear common stock, plus $35 million in deferred cash and up to $35 million in potential earnouts; the deal expands MaxLinear's capabilities for 5G and wireless system customers.

Silvaco Group, Inc. has acquired Tech-X Corporation, a developer of high-performance multi-physics simulation software for photonics, electromagnetics and plasma dynamics. The deal integrates Tech-X's GPU-accelerated multi-physics tools into Silvaco's Victory TCAD platform to expand Silvaco's capabilities into photonics, wafer-scale plasma modeling and AI-enabled simulation workflows.

Invixium Acquires Triax Technologies

Invixium, a Toronto-based biometric access control and workforce management provider, has acquired US-based Triax Technologies to add AI-based RTLS and connected-worker capabilities to its product portfolio. The acquisition expands Invixium's offering beyond entry-point access control into site-level safety, productivity and asset-tracking solutions for industrial and critical-infrastructure customers; financial terms were not disclosed.
