A. O. Smith Corporation acquired Water Tec of Tucson, a family-owned water treatment equipment manufacturer and dealer based in Tucson, Arizona, in an all-cash transaction; terms were not disclosed. Water Tec will join A. O. Smith’s North America Water Treatment business to expand the company's West Coast presence, and members of the DeGrave family will remain with the business operating out of Tucson and Las Vegas.

A. O. Smith Corporation has acquired Giant Factories, Inc., a Canada-based manufacturer of residential and commercial water heaters, for approximately $192 million in cash. The acquisition expands A. O. Smith's presence in the Canadian water heater market, adds manufacturing capacity and distribution capabilities, and is expected to be accretive to EPS in the first full year after closing.

Water Engineering (Nolan Capital Portfolio) Acquires American Water Treatment, Inc.

Water Engineering, a portfolio company of Nolan Capital, has acquired American Water Treatment, a family-owned water treatment services provider headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. The acquisition adds American Water’s ~900-customer, multi-state footprint to the WEI platform as an add-on to expand geographic coverage and service capabilities while retaining the existing team and legacy brand.

Evoqua Water Technologies Acquires Smith Engineering, Inc.
