Victra Acquires Go Wireless

Raleigh-based Verizon authorized retailer Victra has acquired Go Wireless, bringing Go Wireless' store staff into Victra employment while retaining Go Wireless' Las Vegas-based back-office team to support integration. The acquisition expands Victra's retail footprint to nearly 1,600 locations nationwide and strengthens its field and store operations.

Boston Omaha Corporation, through its wholly owned subsidiary FIF St George, LLC, has completed the acquisition of the businesses operated by InfoWest, Inc. and Go Fiber LLC, two fiber and fixed wireless internet service providers based in St. George, Utah. The combined businesses serve over 20,000 customers across southern and central Utah, northern Arizona and Moapa Valley, Nevada; InfoWest and Go Fiber equityholders retain a 20% initial ownership stake in FIF St George as Boston Omaha commits additional capital to accelerate FTTH expansion.

Verizon Acquires Certain Assets of Bluegrass Cellular

Verizon Communications has signed an agreement to acquire certain assets of Bluegrass Cellular, a rural wireless operator serving central Kentucky with roughly 210,000 customers across 34 counties. The transaction—subject to FCC approval—is intended to expand Verizon's footprint in Kentucky and will transition Bluegrass customers and employees to Verizon; closing was expected late 2020 or early 2021.
