PQ Acquires Specialty Silicate Business of vanBaerle

PQ has acquired the specialty silicate business of the vanBaerle Group. The Switzerland-based vanBaerle, a long-established maker of high-grade silicates used in welding, paints/coatings and construction applications, will be integrated into PQ's global silicate network to expand specialty product capabilities and reach new customers.
