CVC DIF Acquires 49% Stake in BALANCE Erneuerbare Energien from VNG AG

CVC DIF (via the DIF Infrastructure VII fund) has agreed to acquire a 49% stake in BALANCE Erneuerbare Energien, the biogas subsidiary of Leipzig-based VNG AG, in a growth partnership to support the business’s expansion. BALANCE operates 42 biogas facilities in northern and eastern Germany (≈197 MW thermal) and supplies green energy to roughly 180,000 households; the transaction is subject to antitrust approval.
