J.D. Power has completed the acquisition of ZappyRide, an EV-focused data and software company, and will integrate it into its Autodata Solutions division as part of a new E-Vision initiative. ZappyRide's white-label software, APIs and EV program planning tools will expand J.D. Power's EV data, analytics and consumer intelligence capabilities for OEMs, utilities, fleets and government stakeholders.

Descartes Systems Group Acquires PackageRoute

Descartes Systems Group has acquired PackageRoute, a US-based provider of final-mile carrier software, for approximately US$2 million in cash. The acquisition adds PackageRoute's mobile and web-based route optimization, real-time visibility and fleet management capabilities to Descartes' GroundCloud suite to strengthen its final-mile carrier offerings.

Gupshup Acquires Dotgo

FedEx Acquires RouteSmart Technologies

Pango Acquires Gett

Smart mobility platform Pango has acquired ride-hailing and ground-transportation company Gett from shareholders VNV, Access Industries and MCI Capital for $175 million. The deal, subject to Israeli Competition Authority approval, will keep Gett's global teams intact as Pango supports Gett’s growth in the ride-hailing and delivery markets in Israel and the United Kingdom.

Uber Technologies Acquires Postmates

Uber Technologies, Inc. agreed to acquire Postmates, Inc. in an all-stock transaction announced in November/December 2020 valued at approximately $2.65 billion. The deal combines Postmates' last-mile delivery and delivery-as-a-service capabilities with Uber's global Rides and Eats platform to create operational synergies, expand merchant reach, and improve batching and logistics efficiency.
