UPSTACK Acquires LinkSource Technologies' Network & Cloud Sourcing Business

UPSTACK acquired the network and cloud sourcing business of LinkSource Technologies LLC and formed a strategic partnership with LinkSource's hardware sourcing arm, LinkSource Systems. The deal brings LinkSource's network, cloud and managed-services capabilities and several team members into UPSTACK while founders Curt Lewis and Jason Newbold retain ownership of the hardware business and remain invested owners.

BIG Language Solutions Acquires Language Link

BIG Language Solutions (BIG) has acquired Language Link, a Vancouver, Washington-based language service provider specializing in over-the-phone (OPI) and video remote interpreting (VRI). The deal closed April 30, 2021; Language Link (founded 1991) reported roughly USD 27.5m revenue in 2020 and ~120 full-time employees. BIG said the acquisition accelerates its regulated-industry expansion (healthcare, government) and complements its buy-and-build strategy.

The Sourcing Group Acquires Vanguard Direct

The Sourcing Group (TSG) has acquired Vanguard Direct, folding the promotional-products and print services firm into TSG's corporate umbrella and planning a full rebrand. The deal increases TSG's annual revenue to $265 million (projected to exceed $300 million in 2026) and expands TSG's capabilities in technology-enabled marketing services for public and private sector clients; financial terms were not disclosed.

H.I.G. Capital Acquires Hibu Group (USA), Inc.

Capital has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Hibu Group (USA), Inc., a Cedar Rapids–based provider of integrated digital marketing services for small and medium-sized businesses. H.I.G. said the investment will support Hibu's next phase of growth and product innovation; the seller is Hibu Group Limited (UK).
