The Timken Company Acquires Torsion Control Products

The Timken Company has acquired Torsion Control Products, Inc., a Rochester Hills, Michigan-based designer and manufacturer of engineered torsional couplings and torque limiter products for off-highway power transmission applications. Timken said the acquisition expands its couplings product offering and technical capabilities and will help broaden its global footprint; Angle Advisors advised TCP on the transaction.

The Timken Company Acquires Engineered Solutions Group (iMECH)

The Timken Company has agreed to acquire Engineered Solutions Group (also known as Innovative Mechanical Solutions or iMECH), a Houston-based manufacturer of thrust and radial bearings, specialty coatings and other components serving the energy industry. iMECH employs approximately 70 people and projects about $30 million in revenue for 2023; Timken will fund the purchase with cash on hand and its existing revolving credit facility and expects the deal to close in the fourth quarter.
