The Riverside Company led the investment, combining CEA's large HCP network with MDoutlook's AI/ML-assisted expert database and market research services to broaden the platform's analytics and engagement offerings.

Aterian Investment Partners Acquires Outlook Group from Heartwood Partners

Aterian Investment Partners (through an affiliate) has acquired Outlook Group, LLC, a Neenah, Wisconsin-based provider of pressure-sensitive labels and turnkey packaging solutions, from Heartwood Partners II, LP and affiliated entities. Outlook operates two Wisconsin locations with approximately 260 employees and serves food & beverage, consumer staples and healthcare customers; Aterian plans to support organic growth and M&A to expand the business.

Vista Equity Partners Acquires Acumatica from EQT VII

Merck KGaA Acquires Unity‑SC

Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany completed the acquisition of Unity‑SC, a French provider of metrology and inspection instrumentation, for €155 million plus milestone-based payments. The deal (Unity‑SC, based in Montbonnot‑Saint‑Martin, France, with ~160 employees) expands Merck’s electronics/display capabilities into advanced metrology to strengthen its newly positioned Optronics offering and better serve semiconductor, AI/HPC and advanced packaging markets.

EQT Acquires Acumatica

EQT VII has agreed to acquire Acumatica, a Bellevue-based cloud-native ERP software vendor, from the company's founders, management and other minority investors; financial terms were not disclosed. Acumatica will remain an independent, channel-focused SaaS business led by CEO Jon Roskill and will operate as a sister company to EQT's existing ERP portfolio company IFS to pursue cross‑pollination of R&D, go-to-market synergies and accelerated growth in the SMB ERP market.

Anaqua Acquires SeeUnity

Anaqua, the Boston-based intellectual property (IP) management software provider, has acquired SeeUnity, a Johnstown, Colorado-based provider of API-based enterprise content integration and migration software. Anaqua will integrate SeeUnity's connector library and migration tools into its AQX and PATTSY WAVE platforms, retain SeeUnity's employees, and expand investment in product, engineering, and client-facing resources.
